On her international travels, acclaimed photographer Alisa Connan takes a number of photographs for her own use; in what we can only describe as ‘a stroke of freaking luck’ on our part, she’s agreed to share her outtakes with us in the format of a photo-diary which paints a portrait for us of her journeys abroad. Here, she has compiled a series of images taken in Mexico, which portray the staff which she encountered behind the scenes – her intention is to document her trip, not by photographing the landmarks which are usually captured by tourists, but by illustrating the unseen side of Mexico.
A limited-edition print by Alisa is available in our online store here.
