COMPETITION:
If you were to try and dream up some interesting facts about Croatia, and your geography is as terrible as ours, you might turn to Wikipedia; a cursory glance reveals, for instance, that it became a Sovereign state in 1991, that Insular Croatia consists of over a thousand islands, and that its largest lake, Lake Vransko, stretches over 30km squared. These facts are all well and good, of course, but our favourite seems to have been omitted – the fact that, if you play your cards right, you could be buggering off to its world-famous Soundwave Festival as a VIP photographer, courtesy of Trekstock and Art Wednesday. Nifty, eh?
BRIEF:
Here’s the gist: Trekstock are looking for a skilled, experienced event photographer to cover the Soundwave festival for them this July. As a representative of Trekstock, you’ll be required to photograph festival attendees, including celebrities, wearing or holding Trekstock badges, and you’ll also be required to review your experience afterwards on behalf of both Trekstock and Art Wednesday.
PRIZE:
The winner of this competition – in addition to being given the chance to have their photographs appear on both Trekstock and Art Wednesday’s sites – will be awarded VIP tickets to Soundwave festival in Croatia, which this year, is headlined by Roots Manuva (you will, however, need to arrange your own travel and accommodation).
