One half of the former Two Fat Ladies and the foodie legend that is Clarissa Dixon Wright, has just brought out a new book on the history of our great English grub: ‘A History of English Food’ [click here to buy].

To celebrate the end of the week, we’ve managed to get our mitts on a pair of tickets (worth £125 each) for a swanky four-course meal and a champagne and canapés reception (both inspired by the book), at the Savoy next Thursday (10th November) for one lucky reader and a friend.
