- Orange Dot Gallery, 54 Tavistock Place
Here at Art Wednesday we love a good one-off. That’s why when we heard about 7s-Eleven record store, we were over the moon. The shop is on today at Bloomsbury’s Orange Dot Gallery until 7pm. It’s populated by stalls for some of the most exciting independent labels in the UK, selling some of the year’s finest releases, as well as odd bits and bobs that you can only find at lovely little events like these. Sounds well worth the trip, no? Not convinced? Here are the labels that are there:
Abeano
Cascine
Double Denim
Luv Luv Luv Records
Merok
Moshi Moshi
Pictures Music
Something in Construction
Sounds of Sweet Nothing
Tough Love
Transparent
Tri Angle
Young Turks
What’s more, there will be a piano set-up with short performances from special guests from the participating labels. Here’s the line-up so far:
Outfit
Au Palais
Psychologist
Pandr Eyez
Digits
