Wahey! We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to Beaty Heart’s show at Roundhouse Rising on Friday night. The show is the second night of Roundhouse Rising, which runs from 9th-18th February at the Roundhouse in Camden and serves to showcase some of the best emerging musical talent around. This particular night, we feel, is not to be missed. On the line-up are Beaty Heart, who will be performing with the Roundhouse Choir in a special collaboration with CLOUT!, Sarah Leo and The Waylayers. We’ve got a good feeling about this night and will be heading over ourselves to check out how the performances unfold, particularly those from Beaty Heart, who we have a lot of time for here at Art Wednesday. We’re expecting their collaboration with the Roundhouse Choir to be a spectacular affair. Their psychedelic blend of drum-pop isn’t short of musical reference points either, which range from afro beat to soul, to lo-fi.
